How to use drag&drop in mappView to draw a curve on the screen?

Dear Experts,

I’m rather new to mappView technology, so please pardon me if my question sounds too simple or to generic.
I’d like to know if it’s somehow possible to utilize the drag-n-drop gesture (or a number of gestures) over the LineChart or Paper widgets in mappView in order to draw a free-hand curve on top the chart?

I have searched the forum and looked at this post , but I’m still not sure if it’s possible at all. Can someone please provide me with a definite answer regarding the possibility itself? I appreciate your time and help in advance.

A sample project or a relevant piece of code would be even more appreciated!

Thank You and Best Regards,
Alexander

Hi!
The topic you mentioned only works for moving images (information in an array) and triggers events when the dragged widget is above other widgets. I’m not entirely sure, but I think we don’t have a solution for you. Chart widgets can be paused, scrolled, and zoomed, but I believe there’s no option to draw into them.
I hope someone will have a solution for you; it’s an interesting idea!

Hello Rudolf,

Thank you very much for your quick reply and insight.
Regardless of LineChart or Paper, do you happen to know of any other widgets that may allow a user to draw on top of them?

Many Thanks again and Best Regards,
Alexander

Hi Alex , what is the status of this topic? Can you update us what is your final solution/findings?

Dear Jaroslav,

Unfortunately, there is no solution and no further progress of this topic. I suggest this thread to be closed without a definite “solution”. How can I do that? (just close the thread)

Thank you and Best Regards,
Alexander

Thanks Alexander, I marked your final summary as a “solution” of your question.
