How to use the vision backlight

Hi, when I use the backlight and modified the Vision component Reference as the picture. Then I can not use the camera’s exposure. How do I use the program to choose whether to use Backlight or the camera’s exposure? Thanks so much

You can use both. If the Vision Component Reference has been set the backlight (or lightbar), will be triggered when the camera is triggered.

The camera and backlight both have their own independent color and exposure time datapoints(FlashColor, FlashSegment, ExposureTime) in their I/O mappings, which can be freely manipulated from the application program(PLC variables).

To choose which lights you are using just set the color and exposure time (and LED Segments for camera) from the application program.
