Hello Everyone, i have my first MappView projekt. I created project in Simulation first, everythink worked fine. now i get my PanelPc (5AP5230.215C with 5PPC2200_AL18) I installed Hypervisor via USB as shown in Help without any issues. PLC is starting Runtime but not as expected in “Hypervisor mode”. PLC is running and i can connect Mappview in Browser with my Laptop as well. How to get PanelPc to start with showing my Mappview visualisation. Thanks for Help. (AS 6.5, MappView 6.7, Hypervisor is enabled in BIOS c1.36, MTCX 1.08)

On hypervisor systems by default the Automation Runtime is set to be the DHCP server with an address of 192.168.137.1 and it will give the GPOS(Linux or Windows) which should be set by default to be a DCHP client the address of 192.168.137.2. With the default configurations you should be possible to connect from the GPOS to the Automation Runtime via the IP address 192.168.137.1. This only applies if all settings for the internal ETH have been left to defaults in the Automation Studio Project (Automation Runtime side) and the GPOS adapter is set to DHCP.

You should configure the GPOS to open the browser automatically. What GPOS(Windows / Linux) are you using? If you don’t have a GPOS with a modern browser installed, the PanelPC can’t show the mapp View visualization.

Hello Tommi, thanks for reply. GPOS is Windows. My problem is, that PanelPC starts in Runtime and i don´t know how to boot in GPOS again. I can open BIOS but how to configure booting Windows.

Hello, i tried to get it all done from the beginning. Create new USB-Installer and boot from USB. Now i can’t even install hypervisor. Message: install aborted: installation on legacy GPOS not possible. Please install UEFI GPOS. What does that mean? Windows wos installed and licensed and installation worked yesterday.

It appears that the Windows installation is gone from the flash card. This means you’ll need a new GPOS installation in order to proceed. Afterwards you can install the Hypervisor by booting from the USB or launching the install from Windows. Are you in possession of an image from the flash card before installing HyperVisor? If so, re-install that image. Otherwise you’ll need to contact your local B&R office in order to obtain a recovery image via our website.

Thats we found out, Win10 is gone from CFast card, however this is possible without generating it. It never left the PanelPc? I downloaded my Win10 form homepage. Licencekey should be stored in Bios. What is the fastest way to install Win10 again. Directly on Laptop an CF-Reader? Is there a guidline available?

Not sure how this can happen to be honest. Never had a similar case. You can check the recovery solution documentation on the website on how to install the image: [image] download section for W10

Thats how it should be done. My USB-Stick is just 8GB so to small for this operation. Trying to get a bigger one at the moment

Hello, i have an update for my topic. i succesfully managed to recover my win10 and installed hypervisor then. I althoug installed hypervisor and Runtime. CPU is in run. Thats good. I can connect to Mappview Visualisation from my laptop as expected. but i can´t open Visu at PanelPC itself in chrome. Neither SDM
