Issue with 5PPC2200_AL14_000 in AS6.5

While working with the 5PPC2200_AL14_000 in AS6.5, we discovered that the Connectivity folder — which handles OPC-UA — is not being created. When downgrading to a lower version, it works fine. We’re not sure of the exact reason, but we would appreciate it if the Connectivity folder could be automatically generated in AS6.5 and above as well.

So far, we have not seen a similar issue with any other models besides the 5PPC2200_AL14_000. Thank you.

Hello,

I created a new empty project on my end using a PPC2200. The connectivity order is generated automatically for me.

Which versions are you using?
Have any settings on your computer changed?
Is this issue also occurring for any of your colleagues?

Hi Hansol,

I also created a new project in AS 6.5.2 with a PPC2200 and the Connectivity folder was automatically added.

I wasn’t able to delete it from Automation Studio, but I deleted it out of the project directory and then removed it from the Cpu.pkg file. After I did this, I found i could re-add it from the Toolbox. If yours is still missing, you should also be able to re-add it:
