Minor Fault on Redundant X20 system

Hi Everyone,

I’dont know if this is the correct place to put this question, please tell me I apreciate any help.

I’m currently migrating a project from AS 4.2 to 4.12 on redundant system XP20CP3585.

Everything is working ok but the link is always in “minor fault” warning.

Redundancy switch is working and not haver Errors.

I can’t understand why happen because this project is wornkig good on AS 4.2 version.

Any idea or sugestion?

Thankyou so much for you time and feedback.

Maybe others know, but I do not. What do you mean by “minor fault” warning.?

thanks for reply,

is a redundancy state, when everything is correct the status is “bumpless”

Parameters

redSWITCH_LEVEL_BUMPLESS - Bumpless switchover possible
redSWITCH_LEVEL_MINOR_BUMP - Minor bump switchover possible
redSWITCH_LEVEL_MAJOR_BUMP - Major bump switchover possible
redSWITCH_LEVEL_IMPOSSIBLE - Switchover not possible

Disclaimer - I have never used Controller redundancy

I just had a look into the AS-Help to learn something new due to this thread.
Maybe this helps you to start diagnostics.

I would also to recomend to have a look into the Logger, i would expect there to have an entry about the mode change.

Thanks for reply Michael,

Logger is not very helpfull, only can find this

Hello,

The information about the warning in AS-Help says that there is a difference is Project on PLC or Task-Class Timing.

I think the plc somehow detects an difference.

Not sure if this helps…
