Motion control for 8LSA series motor with gear box

I am using ACOPOS P3 drive to control 3 motors 8LSA44.DB022D000-3. In my application I am using gear box 8GP60090-008-R2-L4 (Gear Ratio 1:8). I am using ACP10 functionality for axis control. I need to simulate this in B&R Automation Studio. How can I consider gear ratio for simulation in software? Can Someone guide me through this. I am beginner in Automation Studio, so your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

do you need to simulate the complete load with gear ?
In this case there is an example in the Online- Help how the parameters have to be set:

Example: Simulating a load system

Or maybe the setpoint generation only simulation is sufficient ?
In that case the encoder interface and optionally the PLCopen modulo and factor have to be configured (as in a real axis).

If you are instead a real beginner, you should first start with a training at a local B&R office or try yourself with the online help:

Hi @samikshaunhale21,

The Community will need some more information from you before we can help. Christoph already provided you some resources. What do you need help with specifically? This post has already been marked as solved, so please consider making a new post to increase visibility of your questions if they are not related to this topic.

Additionally, the Community is not a replacement for training. There are Getting Started guides in the Automation Studio help which can get you going, but if you are new to B&R motion control I highly recommend reaching out to your local B&R office to schedule either a training or a meeting with a local expert to discuss your application.
