Restarting the terminal via variable

Hello,

please, how am I able to restart terminal C50 with mappview visualization by variable? I want to create visualization with restart button for each C50 terminal.

I find IoMap.iom with variables for SerialNumber and TemperatureCPU, but it propably will not be it in there.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Jakub, I do not think that there is datapoint for that. But mappView client can access AR over OPCUA node. So you can connect FUB restart to your logic. Should work…

Yes, it works, thanks !

But, if panel is in SERV mode, it does not work.

Is there any solution for it?

Thanks.

Hey Jakub,

if your panel is in Service mode, there is no task execution, so you could only trigger it externally by re-powering or using PVI, but I don’t think PVI is an option for you if you’re using the C50. It would be for the hypervisor e.g. or if you have another system in the network running windows. So there is probably no easy solution for you as far as I can see. Perhaps someone else has an idea

Best regards,

Hi Jakub,
if your C50 is in SERV there must be a reason for that e.g. program failure, so you should check the logger.
