Have you tried to create an OPC UA Default view file in Configuration tab Connection folder? https://help.br-automation.com/#/en/4/communication%2Fopcua%2Fdefaultview%2Fopcua_defaultview.html Enable some tags in this OPC UA Default view file download and try again.

Did you try with an ip-address, or only with a Browse action? Are you able to make a Wireshark trace off the TIA portal connect action? The Hello and Ack message sometimes give information about the reason. Sometimes it is interpretation issue of the OPC UA protocol like NULL or UINT16=0.
