I’m building a CiA402 based motion control system. If I add a X20BC00G3 controller to a X20 bus, will the SM1436 stepper controllers become CiA402 compliant?
It’s a personal project - and I have a good inventory of X20 parts. I want to drive a small CNC machine with LinuxCNC using EtherCAT.
the X20BC00G3 bus coupler is an EtherCAT bus coupler. It only works on an EtherCAT bus and not on an X2X bus. The X20SM1436 stepper module only supports the ramp model on an X20BC00G3. You can find more information here: B&R Online Help
