SmartEdit Option "Prompt before moving options with drag-and-drop" is missing in AS6

Hi there,

my favourite option from previous Versions is missing :smiling_face_with_tear:.

Can someone help me find it?

In previous AS-Versions it used to be located here:

With AS6 it looks like it moved (at least I hope it did…)

It was a very helpful option. Because, sometimes… in “the heat of the moment” it could happen that Automation Studio thought I wanted to move a file, maybe because AS was loading other stuff or it was thinking about what great tool it is… I dont know.
But it happend and with that option I could stop the file from moving packages.

Please help me find it or, if it was removed… PLEASE bring it back.

I mean, Spiderman is being rebooted every other year.
So I think we can reboot the Prompt-Option! :upside_down_face:

Hi Stefan, I’m afraid to ask, but I have to… Did you find it? Maybe with the help of B&R support?

why are you arfraid to ask?
Maybe the irony got lost in translation… it was all in good fun.

I have not found it, but to be honest I also did not look for it further…

I will make a ticket for it and let you know.

Hi @kovarj,
there is no “short term plan” to fix this at the moment there are other things on the agenda for AS6.X

… we all know what that means… but we will stay on it and ask again in 6 months.
