Transfer Properties Invalid

Hello Community,

Having an issue with transfer to PLC reporting properties are invalid. The help for the error suggests it is due to transfer properties / settings are invalid. All settings I am aware that affect the transfer are at default. This is an existing site where we have transferred many times (over 10 years - we did upgrade the PLC CPU around 12 months ago). This site uses AS4.11 with PLC OS D4.92 which is a combination we have installed is many sites without issue. The PLC CPU has also been powered cycled numerous times.

Anyone seen this issue and possible solution?

Hello,

i don’t know the issue. But if your still on site and in need of a alternative solution i would suggest to try to bring the PLC in Service Mode before Transfer.

If this also does not work an CF/USB-Install will be the next step.

I think you did also check these Settings. I am not sure if they are related to this.

I had once issues because i enabled the Comparison Feature, this can require a format of the CF-Card.

My colleague just had another opportunity to try again when production was stopped this afternoon. One plc restart and then he tried the transfer. Received a different error today than I did yesterday.

He tried then running AS in Administrator mode and the next transfer worked! Inconclusive as to what the fix was.
