Unable to Watch C Variables in Debugger, but Structured Text (ST) Variables Are Visible

I have an application that contains both Structured Text (ST) code and C language code.

During debugging, I can successfully monitor variables declared in the Structured Text program through the watch window. However, variables declared in the C code are not visible or cannot be added to the watch window.

Please suggest how i can watch C variables in watch window !!

Hello Holas,

welcome to the Community.

You generally cannot watch raw C/C++ variables directly in the normal Watch window like ST variables. For C/C++ code, you can expose the C values via a process variable (PV) and watch that PV in the normal Watch window for example.

You could also use the Contextual Watch
