Due to the current situation, I’m required to maintain existing source code in PG2000. Since I’ve gotten used to larger screens and information density, I’d like to know if an external editor can be reliably used in conjunction with PG2000.
Hello, non of which I would know of. Please bear in mind that PG2000 now hits approx. 30 years and back in this days “widescreen” or similar displays did not exist. It is simply an old DOS program
I tried out the proposed method and it works fine. Thank you!
The only thing is that you never know if the ASCII-File represents the installed software as you can edit also in PG2000-Editor without updating the ASCII-File.
A further question concerning this topic:
My target systems are CP474 with OS (AR) V2.20.
By creating a project in AS 2.5.2.108 and a task with same name as in the trarget (and no code) I can easily watch the variables as the AS is fetching somehow the variable inventory from the target.
But with AS 4.12 I’m not able to so.
Do you know why this mechano is not running on AS 4.12?
