I see a major change on PVI communication:
Well it seems the new implementation is heavier in term of CPU usage, “PLC spikes to 100% while it normally hovers around 65%“ is bad sign.
From my point of view the communication still running with AS 6 so there is no bug but it’s much slower, in this situation I think you should report the issue
to your local B&R Support, colleagues will create a CASE and send that to R&D for clarification.
