I am trying to run download transfer module from the runtime utility centre onto a simulated project. When I execute the command, I continue to get error 12062. Help states that
“1) After starting the application or after calling function PviDeinitialize, a user function other than PviInitialize was called. 2) User function PviInitialize (without error response) was called a second time without first calling function PviDeinitialize.”
I have the PVI Manager running, and I can connect to the project through automation studio. How can I call PviInitialise?
In case, with latest PVI version, you still have the issue, please contact our local Support in Atlanta because in the next step we need your prj and at the moment in the Community we don’t do so deep investigation.
Please give us an update when you’ll find the cause of the problem.
Just for curiosity @mykalrudie , we have available a service pack 9 for AS 4.12, Is there a reason why you didn’t install that yet?

@valerio.manenti before checking in with local support, I tried creating a new connection first, whereas previously I was just checking the current connection. With this change, I’m able to connect! Now having issues with downloading the transfer module, but that’s a different problem. Thanks for your help . I’ll look into the service pack.
