3rd party Powerlink Servo Drive Can't be recognize in SDM

Hello,

We are currently working on a 3rd party Powerlink Servo Drive. We control it via SDC and via mapp Motion and DS402.
In the project we have configured two Drives. However, when we try to observe the status of the Drives in SDM. We found out that we can observe all the information of the drives for the SDC version. However, when we tried on the mapp Motion version. It only shows one drive and the name of the drive is called not defined. We can’t see any information of it from SDM.
I would like to ask what can be the reason of this issue? How can I solve it?
The Screenshot of the situation is attached below.

Drive Status in SDM for mapp Motion version

Hi,

Unfortunately SDM does not show any information about mapp Motion drives.
Only Acp10 drives are supported.

Thank you for answering the question.
Then, I would like to know if we have a diagnostic tool just like SDM that we can integrated into our mapp View HMI and it will also work for mapp Motion Drives.

from my point of view

  • mapp Cockpit with view rights only
  • build an own page for that

I got a further question then.
If I decided to integrate mapp cockpit as the tool to view drive information.
Is there any way I can setup mapp cockpit, so its output result can be larger for users to view as default.

You could still link a user-defined HTML page in SDM with the AsArSdm - SdmSetAppParam() function.

I wouldn’t know. But maybe you’d better open a new topic. This may also be a question for mappView / HTML experts.

yep. I also have other solutions in mind. But nothing ‘out of the box’ with little effort…
