I am relatively new to Automation studio and I am having the following issue. Could someone point me in the correction direction as to why I am facing this issue.
I have managed to successfully download to my HMP/PLC (4PPC50_0702_13B). But for some reason it sit on the loading page is there any specific reason why?

What does it mean “managed to successfully download”? Are you connected to the C50 with Automation Studio?
What is your terminal configuration?
The C50 has two CPUs. Terminal must be properly configured (Network and Visu mode) to display a visualization.

When i say successfully downloaded i mean i was able to transfer the project file. below is a image of my configuration.
I have set the IP of IF2 to 172.16.4.1 and was able to download. Still have it stuck on that loading screen though.

From your configuration (Terminal configuration → Visualization → Visu mode → Web) I can infer you are trying to show a mapp View visualization. Do you have it configured in your project? If yes, you need to specify URL. If you configured ID of default visualization, you could only use [IP address|Hostname]:Port.
Since you set the fixed IP address for the controller CPU, I believe you should choose “Enter IP address manually” mode under the Terminal configuration → Network and specify an IP address from the same range as the IP address of the IF2 (keep in mind the already mentioned C50 architecture).
