About Encryption Protocol in Mapp Database Library

Hello,

I am currently using the Mapp database for my services, and some of my clients have inquired about the encryption of data transmission. While I can confirm that I am using an HTTP server, I am unsure whether encryption is being handled internally by the Mapp database library.

Could you please confirm if the Mapp database library encrypts the communication process? If not, could you recommend a suitable protocol for ensuring secure communication between a PC and the database?

Hi David, communication between mpDatabase and python http server is not encrypted. I’m not aware of any available solution for that. Maybe someone in the community has already developed that so lets wait for comments from others
