About Encryption Protocol in Mapp Database Library

Hello,

I am currently using the Mapp database for my services, and some of my clients have inquired about the encryption of data transmission. While I can confirm that I am using an HTTP server, I am unsure whether encryption is being handled internally by the Mapp database library.

Could you please confirm if the Mapp database library encrypts the communication process? If not, could you recommend a suitable protocol for ensuring secure communication between a PC and the database?

Hi David, communication between mpDatabase and python http server is not encrypted. Iā€™m not aware of any available solution for that. Maybe someone in the community has already developed that so lets wait for comments from others :slight_smile:
