How can I download settings from a faulty inverter and upload them to a new one? The inverter is equipped with an AC110 module, which uses the CAN protocol. Do I need to use a CAN-to-USB or CAN-to-RS232 converter?
Hello,
B&R is using a centralised Data Handling for the Module Settings. There is no requirement to load Parameters from this Inverter. The Parameters are strored in the PLC which will download the Firmware and Motor Settings to the inverter at start up of the System.
You can replace the Faulty Device, by a new one if available.
The System should do all the Configuration for you.
The only manual Checks are needed to ensure the same NodeNumber of the Communication Card.
