One of our customers has lost one of their APROL V4.4 P6 runtime PCs in a redundant setup, and it now needs to be replaced.
How would I copy the remnant data from the currently operational redundant PC to the new PC, along with any logging data? The PC that will be used to replace the failed unit may already contain remnant data that would need to be deleted or overwritten.
My concern is that the new PC could assume the Master role and its remnant values could be applied to the system, whereas I need the currently operational runtime PC to remain the source of the remnant configuration.
Any information on how the two runtime systems share remnant data and log files would be greatly appreciated. It would also be helpful to know how backups of this data can be taken and restored if required.
