Based on my discussion with B&R I was asked to re-install AS6, which solved the issue at first. Then the issue re-appeared when I edited an eventbinding file, I was looking to set an OPC-UA event, this is when the problem re-appeared. I have not been able to solve it even re-installing AS6.3.
I’m aware of a problem introduced in newer versions of OPCUA C/S. I thought that it was already fixed with 6.4. So it is not a problem with the AS installation. You can use 6.0 for binding and even binding configuration, and then switch back to 6.4, compile, and download. In parallel, report this as a bug to the support team at your local B&R office. Please provide a link to this community chat in your description.
Just one more question, you are using AS6.3 right, is it new project or migrated one? If migrated one, is it project migrated to 6.3 as well or in compatibility mode 6.1? You can see it in header of your AS.
Hi Jaroslav, this is a brand new project. The only thing I see that could be the issue is that I use 2 configurations. Both configuration use the same visualization, only some hardware is removed on the second configuration. Wondering if this could be an issue
