Hello,
I have encountered an issue in a project and currently see no way out. Suddenly, the OK button in this dialog stopped working.
It remains perpetually grayed out. Deleting the temp folder does not resolve the issue.
The project compiles without any errors or warnings.
When I open another project, however, the button functions correctly…
Has anyone observed this behavior before and knows of a solution?

Some of my colleagues have encountered the behaviour as well. But we currently also have no idea why this occures. The issue seems to be situated in the Editor Window.
The known Workaround ist to create the OPC-UA Path by yourself and enter it manualy into the Widget Setting field.
We are in contact with your Sales Manager and will disscuss this with the B&R Support to provide an clarification.
I am also looking forward if other community members can contribute to this topic. Did you also have had it, or do you know how to reproduce it, …

Upon further investigation, while attempting to replicate the issue on an alternate computer, we observed that the OPC UA C/S technology package, version 6.3.0, is no longer available for download. I had successfully downloaded and installed this version earlier this Tuesday.
This anomaly prompted me to revert to the previous version, 6.0.0, via the “Change runtime versions” setting on my primary machine.
Remarkably, the functionality of the OK button was immediately restored.

There is an mappView 6.3.1 available for download (since 04.06.2025)

I think 6.3.0 could be a preRelease Version, but i am not sure.
As the 6.3.1 is already 1 month old, it may contain the same issue. I did not tested it.

i actually run in the same Problem
Brandnew Project
AS 6.31.32
Most recent Library Versions as far as available.
After playing around a while i must confirm that only
Changing the Runtime version of the OPC AU C/S Package to 6.0.0 (intermediate Version 6.3.1 same issue)
solvels the Problem
@michael.bertsch do you have any updates received on this issue ?
(For me it’s currently not so important as this is just a R&D Project so i don’t want to open a (new) ticket in the support,
as i was not able to find this issue in the RevInfo ti. 6.4.0 i suspect it’s maybe caused from some hardening “Safe per default”
and requires some changed settings ?

as far as I am aware, this issue should be resolved with AS >= 6.3.2, where AS 6.3.4 is the most recent available version, see https://www.br-automation.com/en/downloads/software/automation-studio/automation-studio-6/automation-studio-v6/

i didn’ see there are newer AS Versions. Shouldn’t they occur in the upgrade dialog 6.3.4 is
the same major Version as 6.3.1 or did i misunderdtood this.

with Version >6.0 they are currently complete installation and not only Service Packs.
I think this difference why they are not showing up, becuase also 4.x complete Installations were not shown.
We have to look how B&R Decides how to go on here, if Service Packs comes back or if it stays with complete Installations. Currently you have to check manualy for new AS-Versions. Sorry for this.
