Switching to Automation Studio 6: New online checklist available for customer projects

Migrating to Automation Studio 6 is a strategically necessary step that goes far beyond a simple technical software upgrade.

It ensures compliance with new EU regulations, including the Cyber Resilience Act), which will become part of the revised Machinery Directive (MRL) from 2027.

To ensure that existing (customer) projects comply with these requirements, migrating them to the new platform is essential.

These migration tools were created by the B&R Community and are free of charge, standalone tools. They support the migration process by scanning AS 4.12 projects and are already used in the above-mentioned checklist.
