Issue: AS6.5 crash after VC4 component is opened
History: The project was migrated from AS4.x to AS6.5. VC4 component opening in my laptop, but when customer opens it in his laptop the AS6 crashes.

So this is a bug? How a non B&R expert can understand it?
I don’t think this user was hurt to ask for help here; this could be a missing incorrect installation and/or.net package; or missing project folders (depending on how the sw project in question is structured).

You are totally right, but I see how there could be a possible misunderstanding regarding that guideline.
In the community, we have a clear red line: at most, we ask for a SystemDump or help debug small state machines, but this kind of situation requires a deep investigation into the customer’s project. I have been working with VC4 and AS6 for a month now without any issues, so in general, VC4 can work on AS6 too.
Many times we see the same errors, but the root cause of the issue can be entirely different. To avoid confusion, frustration, and a “ping-pong” back-and-forth of messages, we ask you to contact the Support team.
On the other hand, I often see our Support team looking through the community for ideas, as we quite frequently receive questions like, “How can I do that with mappView?” for example.
We are trying our best to allocate the correct resources to resolve your issue.

After reinstalling of AS6 by running the below batch file with admin rights, the issue has been resolved.
