Hello,
AS-Help Upgrades - Known Issues
I would recomment to delete the Tempfolders used by B&R Upgrade C:\Temp
i have currently this items in the Folder which are crated by upgrade Service. They can be deleted.
Greetings
Michael
@nadir has this helped?
Tried deleting additional files, but the issue still continues.
Deleted all the files in Temp folder, but the issue still continues.
AS6 crashes when I try to open upgrade
Please collect crash report and get in contact with local support team. Problem seems to be your PC related, so either admin rights or local security issue.
I uninstalled AS6 again installed, now update is opening,
but now updates are not downloading, I have to manually download and install from local.
But you have an error during Automation Studio startup, that the update service is not running, right? Check using Task Manager that the ASUpgrade service is running.
Small note on my side, my Support helped me few weeks ago the upgrades and the sequence recommended is not reported in the Help, you can follow these steps as an additional test:
Close all open Automation Studio instances.
Open the Task Manager, to the Services tab (right-click task bar > Task Manager)
Stop all BrUpgrSrvASxx services, where xx is the Automation Studio version in two digits (right-click > Stop).Leave this window open.
Open a file explorer to C:\Temp\
Delete the contents of this folder (if you use this for non-B&R temporary files, you can leave those)
In the Task Manager Services tab, start each of the BrUpgrSrvASxx services where xx is the Automation Studioversion in two digits (right-click > Start).
Close the Task Manager and open Automation Studio
In the top menu, select Tools > Upgrades and check if you can see the latest upgrades.
I hope it helps, but as Jaroslav said it’s time to involve L1 for deep investigation.
Ciao
