Troubleshooting compilation errors in the AS4 to AS6 migration

out of curiosity, Why did you enable OPC UA FX?

Which version of AS 6 are you using? Do you see a compatibility mode text on the top of AS?

Similar issue was reported by our colleague in China so I recommend to call our Support in your country for getting additional help.

Below I report the recommendation from our Support:

  1. Are you using a virtual machine for Automation Studio?
    1.1) If yes how much RAM have you configured? in some cases the customer had configure too much memory and when He reduced, for example, to 3 GB no more issue
    1.2) if yes how much RAM have you configured? in other cases the customer didn’t configure enough DRAM so when He increased that no more issue

  2. Do you have an ACOPOS P84 in the prj? In one case the customer deleted and reinserted again the ACOPOS P84 and no more issue.

  3. If you still the error after 1) and 2), as general recommendation, we would also suggest cleaning the project via “Project 🡪 Clean configuration…”. Maybe also try to delete the Temp folder (when AS is closed) of the project and perform a new rebuild afterwards.

  4. Finally we recommend in case of seeing not expected errors in AS after an installation of a new ACP10 version:

  • Close Automation Studio
  • Open the following folder on your PC: C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Temp. *username* stands for the currently logged in Windows user account name.
  • Find the folder “Motion”
  • Delete the mentioned folder “Motion”
  • Open Automation Studio

关于OPC UA FX打开不是我的本意，不是我的程序中使用了该协议，只是升级程序时

选择该项为没有定义的话，它的旁边就会显示红×，所以我选择了其中的一个版本让它不报错而已。

其次我们没有使用虚拟机，程序中也没有P84变频器，只是简单的老式的轴控模板程序。

最后你提及的老版本我们常用的一些手段和措施，我试一下。
