I uninstalled AS4.12 Help Explorer and installed AS6 instead. However, I can’t seem to find anything when I search in AS6; for instance, searching for “MpaxisBasic” used to yield many results in AS4.12, but those results are missing from the AS6 help system.
You will need to install / reinstall Technology Packages so that their respective help sections are installed. These are no longer automatically included in the Automation Help installation.
In your case MpAxisBasic is included in the mapp Motion Technology Package.
AS6. Are you saying I need to uninstall and reinstall it?
Nope, just install the Technology Packages again through the Tools → Upgrades menu in AS6.
mapp Motion,
mapp View,
mapp Services,
etc…
