Hello,
I’m getting the error “Product Licensing - Setup data damaged. Please execute setup again.” when trying to open Automation Studio 4.1.8.44 SP.
I need this specific version (4.1) to build and transfer a project that uses Automation Runtime S4.10.
How can I resolve this? For example, manually removing the installation and licensing data (registry keys, license files) to allow a clean reinstall, or repairing the licensing data directly?
Thank you for any help.
Hi Johan
Have you tried uninstalling it from the control panel and reinstalling it. I would make sure to run the setup.exe as an administrator.
Also what windows are you using. I believe it is not supported on windows 11. We use a virtual machine for that version.

Greetings, no I haven’t tried to reinstall it yet but I’ll try do that.
Im running on windows 11, and it have been working fine for about a year, untill now.
But I remember I just updated the windows version, maybe that could cause the problem.
Hi @Johan_Elfing ,
I recommend installing the old AS version on a supported OS. A few days ago, I installed AS 3.0.81 and AS 3.0.90 on my Windows 11 PC for a short SDM test with AR 3.0. Only AS 3.0.90 allowed me to transfer the project using Arsim, but even then, I saw strange popups when opening SDM. Your time is important too; if you already have a virtual machine installed with different OS images, you can just open your old project there and focus on your task.
Ciao
