Hello everybody! I have a problem with a B&R Automation Studio Version AS6.5.
I made the necessary recorded the CF CARD .
Can someone help me?
Hi Emanuele, and welcome to the Community!
It’s possible something else in Windows is accessing the card while Automation Studio is trying to write to it. Here are a few things you can try:
Hi Marcus, I just tried it again as you mentioned… still nothing this time… could it be the PC’s antivirus?
It’s possible. Do you have a way to disable that temporarily, or stop it from scanning the card?
no because the system doesn’t allow us to stop it
Hi,
can you please check if the service “B&R Disk Image 6” is running?
If not, can you please try to start the service → any error messages (for example maybe your user doesn’t have rights to start a service)?
Can you please check the version of the service exe?
You can find the exe path in the service properties, on my system it’s located in “C:\Program Files (x86)\BRAutomation\PVI6\PVI\Tools\PVITransfer”
When found, right click on the exe, choose properties, tab details → is it version 6.5.x.y?
In the same directory, is there also a BrDiskImage.dll → same version then .exe?
If using AS 6.5 your version looks okay (I’ve AS6.7 installed).
But you posted the version of PVItransfer.exe, can you please post version of BrDiskImageSvc.exe?
Hi Emanuele,
It is a known issue in AS6 that you sometime need to preconfigured the drive for it to work, maybe try to reconfigure it
If this does not work, I already saw something similar using a faulty Cfast to USB converter. If you have a different model it’s maybe something you can try to see if it is indeed the converter.
Hope this help.

I tried with three different models, but I didn’t get a positive response.
