Backup compact PLC CP0482 and CP0292 without original code

Dear friends,

Could you please tell me whether it is possible to back-up PLCs CP0492 and CP0292 without a CF card and without the original source code?

I have a locally written instruction:

“How to back-up a PLC without a CF card using RUC and AS”
Version: 23 March 2021 (my own translation).

Has anyone already used this method?

This kind of PLCs can be backed up using MpBackup, to the best of my knowledge. But this must be part of your project. I’m not sure if Runtime Utility Center and module upload can be used for that. I have never tried, and I’m not an expert on this topic. Maybe others can help you?
