Hello,

I am looking at a PPC80 panel, and have noticed the ability to configure the reset button. One of the three options given for the configuration is for “Diagnose”. I selected that option and installed the program onto the PPC80. After I started the panel I used the reset button, and the panel went into DIAG mode.

What is diagnostic mode and how does it work?

Hi Zachary,

This Help link describes the different operating states of the controller. Diag mode is a fallback mode for the PLC for situations where serious system errors have occurred, or situations where you want to erase the memory on the PLC.
