I have a project that runs on the X20EM1611. I can load it over the ethernet and it works great. But now I want to send an installation package to a remote location. The PLC is not on line and they do not have Automation Studio. How can I do this? I’m assuming they’ll create a USB installation stick remotely from my files.
There are a few different ways you can do this depending on what is enabled(USB installation etc…) in the running project on the PLC.

They can all be found from the Automation Studio top menu “Project”. Offline Commissioning / Offline Update and Export to Runtime Utility Center would be your options here.

If you export a RUC (Runtime Utility Center) package the customer would need to install Runtime Utility Center, free, no license required. And would then be able to do an online transfer similar to Automation Studio.
