HD / CF Utility in AStudio 6.5....?

In AStudio 4.12…. there was a menu option under the ‘Online’ drop-down ‘Services’ - ‘HD / CF Utility’. This utility allowed us while in BOOT mode to format the internal PLC partitions when they became corrupted. I do not see this option in AStudio 6.5….. Does the PLC have to be in BOOT mode in order for this to option to become visible?

Is this utility still available in AS6.5? If so how to access it? See the images below. Note: With my image from AStudio 6.5, I am currently not attached to a PLC in boot mode.

The primary issue is that a C30 is booting, loading, and immediately going into Shutdown mode. I suspect the internal partitions are hosed up as I have seen this behaviour before. We are getting the unit back from the field and will attempt to get the logfiles from it. But in the meantime I do not see this utiltity available anymore.

You are right, I don’t see that useful function in AS 6, at least on the main menu.
That function as we see in the Help is a Runtime Utility Center function:

When I open Runtime Utility Center with AS 6 I still see that:

For sure it was more easy to access on that with AS 4.x but at least the function still available in AS 6 too.

Im not sure, but I think panel must be in boot mode.

unfortunately th HD/CF utility inside AS was discontinued with AS V6.
It’s mentioned here (at the end of the page, under “Discontinuations”):

You are right @kovarj , I used that quite a bit with C30 and the HD/CF utility is available only in boot mode.
