Hello Ruben,
T30 is a client panel, which mean it only shows the hmi from the plc it’s connected to, the panel itself does not contain the project. You need to transfer the project to an plc.
The password you mentioned, is for the access to the service page to configure the panel’s parameters (ex: to ip to connect etc), the update option is to update panel’s firmware.
And if what you want is to reset the panel and take out the password you can do it configure a project with the panel without password,
save it in usb and stick it to panel.
