Hello.
When I turn on my T50 power panel, the screen goes black and nothing happens. If I push the backside button while turning on the panel, it blinks and goes to a command page with the lines:
PPT-Updatesystem
ppt50 login:
But even conecting a mouse or keyboard, no input is detected.
I believe the firmware is corrupted, is there a way I can factory restore this panel?

If you try to enter service pages (with the gesture or by pressing the left and right buttons simultaneously for at least 2 seconds), is it possible? Or are you asked for a password?

Unfortunately the service page doesn’t work, not with the gesture or pushing the 2 mouse buttons simultaneosly.
It was working before, but I tried to update the T50 panel with a backup from another T50 panel and in the final phase it failed.
The other T50 panel probably has a diferent firmware version and the update failed. (I used a USB FAT32 pen and made a backup from that other panel)
Both panel’s are 6PPT50.0702-10B, but one is revision C3 and the one that doesn’t work is revision A2.

This is the back button I’m pressing while turning ON the panel and the text/command line that appears.
I tried to use a USB keyboard on this screen, but no input is detected.

I have no idea what the purpose of the button is. I believe it’s not officially documented since it’s not accessible on a chassis.
Every update procedure documented in the help requires accessibility of the Service pages. That’s why I don’t see any other option apart from contacting a local B&R office and sending the T50 for a repair.
But maybe somebody else in the Community could help you.
