I installed the project into the new panel via USB. After installing the panel, the display remained dark, the Power LED is on, the R/E LED is red. It is no longer possible to access the Boot Manager, the panel does not respond to the Esc, Del keys. However, Caps Lock, Num Lock are functional. I am attaching the install_log file, are there any errors. How do I revive the panel, since reinstallation from USB is not possible?

Hi Josef,
I have found one issue in revisions < D0 of the NVME firmware which could cause an unrecoverable read only state due to power off behavior, but in your version that issue is fixed.
It’s kind of annoying state because normally the offline installation via USB fixes the problem, so I’m not sure if Community is the correct channel for your case, I think our B&R Support will is more helpful (in my opinion).

There is a “PP-C80 installation finished” entry in the install_log.txt file that you’ve shared.
The red color of the R/E LED means System in service/diagnostics mode. Have you tried to connect to the panel with AS?
Is it not possible to open the Setup by tapping the upper edge of the touch area?
We can´t connect to the panel with AS. Also it is not posible to open the setup via tapping. the screen is not reacting at all. It seems like the screen is just permanetly turned off, it does not react to reset buton or tapping or turning the power on/off.

here are my findings:
The C80 panel was in service mode due to a missing module in the configuration. Browse could not find the PLC because it did not have SNMP activated.
Fortunately, the customer had entered the IP address manually so we were able to connect.
But I am still sending the C80 for repair because the display was off. After connecting to the power supply, it did not blink at all during booting there were no statuses on it and there was also a black screen when trying to start the BIOS. The customer claims that the display worked before installation, but after the initial installation from USB, nothing was displayed on the display. No backlight, no informations, completely dead display for any mode.

do you have latest hwx file in AS project?
upgrade hwx from 1.3.0.0 to 1.4.0.0 helped!!!

The customer did not see the latest version in Tools - Upgrades but had to download it from the website, we thought he had the latest version. The website had version 1.4.0.0 and in Upgrades 1.3.0.0 He has automation studio 4.11 I recommended him to install the latest versions
