HMI Connect to the Server is lost

Dear Memebers,

Greetings !!

I am using HMI 6PPT50.156B-10 over Web mode with PLC.

I am facing the following issue

When i power up the HMI the above sequence of events happen and later the message is displayed “Connection to Server is Lost!”.
Where as when I access mappview via web Browser it works fine.
Please help me to resovle the issue.

Increasing the watchdog time helped.

what was the original settings and what is your new watchdog value?

it was default 10000 and i was using 226 compound widgets.

Do you know that for this hw is our recommendation to use max 100 widget of class A/B per page? B&R Online Help Watchdog increasing is temporary workaround, no solution from my point of view.

Thanks for the insight, I will try to fix it actually I have to show all the info on a single page, Can i make compound widgets using compound widgets?

You can not count a compound widget as a single widget. You must also count all the individual widgets used within the compound widget. For example, if your compound widget contains an input numeric field, and a button, then this compound widget must be calculated as using 2 widgets.

If I understood correctly, In that case even the Highest series Panel cannot Fulfil my requirement?

I have 1240 active bindings in my project and i have only one Page does that mean I have 1240 Widgets? as per the below statement?

Is this limitation also applicable on the web browsers?

• This table is a recommendation, not a hard limit. It’s something you should consider during visualization development.
• There are widgets with higher performance requirements as well as with lower performance requirements.
• The number of active bindings per page can be checked using the mappView server diagnostics server
• The points that you required to increase WD, along with this table, indicate that you are running your hardware at its limit. Take this into consideration and think about whether you can split your widgets into more pages or to more contents and load them dynamically.

A customer is using a 6PPT80.101E-16A HMI with an X20CP1684. They have imported components from Framework for recipe, userX, report, file backup and alarms.
