How to integrate a second display unit at a c80 system

Hy there,

i have here a plc system which is wide spread at the area which it is installed

I want to integrate a second display at a certain place in order to reduce to long walk.

At the moment we use a C80 system with 10.1” screen. It has EPL, LAN and X2X interfaces. The IO is connected by using EPL and BC Modules, also fiber hubs for the long distances. The visu is made in mappview.

My first thought was creating a WLAN and having success by a mobile phone or tablet.

Now is it possible or what do i need to integrate a second screen (also 10.1” - same visu then on C80) in order to get a second control terminal.

If you are using mappView as the visualization you can use any device with a modern web browser that can access the PLC. Access to the C80 via the LAN port, but you can then extend the network to WLAN or anywhere else with standard network components (routers, access points etc…)

If you want to use a similar device to the C80 with a 10.1” screen you could use a 10.1” T80 from B&R.
