I need Automation Studio version 2.2 to interface with old PLC to save project, so I can continue to support it

Hi,

I am trying to interface with an old PLC on a machine from the late 1990’s

I have everything I need (XP Laptop, rs232 cable, etc)

I just need an old version of AS so I can interface and monitor the control,
and have the ability to back it up, in the event of a failure. Please let me know
if anyone can get me this software. Thanks!

Automation Studio 2.2 wasn’t available in ‘late 1990s’, so maybe it was an 1.x version or PG2000 ?

Could be challenging since the licensing servers for old AS versions are off.

If this is really an AS project you could give AS 2.7 a try which is available from homepage: Downloads | B&R Industrial Automation

The machine/control is from 1999. I really need an old version because 2.7 will give me amessage saying I neeed to update the project.

AS2.2 was released in 2002 as @christoph.hilchenbac said

Unfortunatly the licence servers for this version are no longer available nowadays and therefor this version cannot be used any longer. Due to this AS2.7 comes without any licence and “must” be used if you want to do maintenance of such old machines
