Installation problem of ACP10 3.17.3 on AS 4.12

Hello,

we are converting a project from AS 4.8 to 4.12 and we don’t want to update ACP10.
We are facing out problem on installing ACP 10 3.17.3 on AS 4.12.8.37. We downloaded from the website “V4.1 MC Upgrade (Acp10_V3.17.3)” but it has some installation problem because AS told me that such version is installable only till AS 4.3.

I search on the website the V4.3 for ACP10 3.17.3 but I didn’t find it.

Is still available? Someone can share this version? Any other issue?

i can confirm the behaviour of the upgrade from the Website.

I can also confirm that you can install older Version of ACP10 for example 3.14.3 in AS4.12

I do not think that the community can provide a information about this limitation of the Setup. I would recomment to contact the offical B&R Support to ask if a setup without this limitation can be provided, or why it was implemented for this version.

Hello Giovanni,

The MC upgrade is not available for AS v4.3+, because they were renamed to be Acp10Arnc0 Technology Packages for AS v4.3+. You need to install the AS4_TP_Acp10Arnc0… version instead.

AS v3.x = AS3.0_MC_Acp10…
AS v4.0-4.2 = AS4_MC_Acp10…
AS v4.3+ = AS4_TP_Acp10Arnc0…

The root of the issue is that you won’t find the Technology Package version on the website or Tools > Upgrades, because it is subject to dual-use regulation. To get this version you must contact your local support office for your country: Locations
