Issue with 5PC810 Model - Loss of Power and Ethernet Driver

Dear B&R Support Team,

I have a PC model 5PC810 that has lost power. I replaced it with a similar unit, and when powered on, the LED lights on the PC illuminate normally, the screen powers up, but it displays the error: “The connection between the PLC and touch screen has malfunctioned.”

Subsequently, I replaced it with another PC of the same model, and it worked fine.

Could it be that the first PC lost its Ethernet driver? I connected the RJ45 network cable from the PC to a laptop, and the Ethernet icon was displayed on the laptop. Both PCs are brand new and have never been used.

If the Ethernet driver is lost, is there a way to reinstall it?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Felix

Can Anybody Help Me?

Hello,
5PC810 is the system unit of the APC810. Which automation panel is used and via which interface it is connected? There is a chapter Connection examples in the help where everything is well described (touch screen functionality included), for example for the AP900 via SDL.
