Mapp Audit seems to don't register mapp AlarmX event on AS 6

Hello,

I am facing a problem with mapp Audit that seems to doesn’t register mapp AlarmX events.

I set the Audit trail like this:

I would expect that Audit register all alarms triggered by mappAlarmX. Am i I wrong?
It doesn’t work.
I already set BR_Engineer as role and already enable opcUa on Audit trail.

Where the mistake?

Hello,

Have you defined the Text for the event properly? Which versions do you use? Is there anything related to the mapp Services in the logger?

Hello,

the text are shown correctly in mapp alarmX list so the AlarmX seems to work in the proper way.

Versions:

AS 6.5.3.11 SP

If I understand properly every alarm that happened can be registered by mapp Audit, right?

Can you try the latest versions of mapp View and mapp Services?

Hi!

In order to record audit events of Alarms, you must use the MpAlarmXHistory component and set “Enable auditing” to “TRUE”. The MpAlarmXCore component does not handle auditing… This information is currently missing in the help for “Auditing the alarm management system” (but will be extended for the next mapp Services release). Do you already have MpAlarmXHistory in your project? If no, can you try adding it?

On a side-note: Regarding texts, please keep in mind that MpAlarmX and MpAudit use different texts. If you receive the audit event, but without any message, then you most likely defined the audit texts incorrect. Note that the texts do not have to be correct for audit events to appear though (you may only see timestamp, event ID, … in such a case).
