Mapp View content can't be opened in AS6.1 when using mapp Motion

After upgrading our software from Automation Studio 4.12 to version 6.1, we consistently encounter a Json error when trying to open the mappView (Example: Error generate Json for Widget “TabItem1”). This prevents the visual content from being displayed properly.

Temporary workaround:
Temporarly, we are able to access the mappView and view its contents only by disabling mappMotion.

Software Versions in Use:

  • Automation Studio: 6.1.1.14
  • mappMotion: 6.2.0
  • mappView: 6.2.0

I believe this is a known issue in some projects that is fixed in AS 6.3
