mappCockpit Login Issues

Hello everyone,

I’m currently facing an unusual issue with the simulation of my project.

Whenever I attempt to log in, I receive the following error message:
“Login failed! (SecurityChecksFailed)”

I have tested this across multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) but without success. Interestingly, the same project can be simulated on another PC, where logging into mappCockpit works without any issues.

My questions are:

  1. What does the error “SecurityChecksFailed” indicate?
  2. How can I resolve this issue?

If any additional analytics or details are needed to help diagnose the problem, I’d be happy to provide them.

This is the logger output. Somehow no OPC-UA server can’t be started.
Sidenote: AS 4.12.5.95 has no issues starting the OPC-UA server.

I think you have to solve OPCUA server issue first.

Maybe you can try different port for OPCUA server?

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
I was at the end of my knowledge. Indeed the default port 4840 was already in use by another program. I was not aware this program was active in the background with every start of my PC. Since I deleted it, the login in mappCockpit works like ever.
