Hi
I added the “mapp Cockpit Settings” file and opened it.
On my application I don’t have the “permissions” field. Is it due to a version of mapp Cockpit or should I do another way?
Hi there,
assuming you are using AS 6 with its’ according mappCockpit 6.x version. There were a few changes, mainly that now, the normal user configuration is used (Configuration View → Access and Security) and you need a user defined with role BR_Engineer
This and this (scroll to user rights section) should help you.
Besides that, nothing relevant should have changed in regards to following this guide by Michael.
Best regards
Hi Michael
That’s right, I use AS 6. Sorry, I forgot to describe the AS version in use.
The user was already created with the role “BR_Engineer” but I still not mange to connect to mapp Cockpit.
Should I use HTTP or HTTPS server?
Should I modify the port or the OPCUA configuration?
Best regards
Hi,
this depends entirely on your needs. Clicking Tools->mapp Cockpit will open the correct one, no matter which config you chose.
Please make sure you activated the “Enable HMI application” in the settings file.
Also open the logger and see if you can find anythig in there?
Last but not least, also check Configuration View->OpcUaCs if you have a “*.uacfg” file and if you activated “OPC UA Client/Server” in there.
Best regards
P.S.: Moving this to a new topic for troubleshooting after I posted this
