mappView Theme is not loading

Hi

I recently completed a machine project using mappView 6.7, and everything is running flawlessly.

I am now commissioning a second machine that is intended to be an exact replica of the first one. The hardware configuration, software project, and mappView application are identical, as the project was copied directly from the machine that is already operating successfully.

Despite this, the new machine is exhibiting an issue that does not occur on the original system.

After performing the Initial Installation on the CPU, mappView fails to load the application themes. The issue occurs both in simulation mode and on the actual runtime target.

I have upgraded all the runtime versions to the latest…

The startup theme is properly configured in the .vis file, and the theme reference is pointing to the correct resource.

I have tested both my custom theme and the standard B&R themes, but neither of them loads correctly.

The previous machine, which uses the exact same software and hardware configuration, is running perfectly without any issues. However, on this new machine, the themes are not being loaded by mappView.

So far, I have:

  • Reviewed all mappView configuration settings
  • Performed a Rebuild All
  • Rebuilt the widgets
  • Checked the Logger for any issue
  • Cleared the browser cache and cookies
  • Tested with different browsers and devices
  • Performed a fresh Initial Installation
  • Compared the project against the working machine

Unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the issue.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem before or have any suggestions on what else I could check?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can you select your theme in the content editor and is it displaying correctly?

Did the theme name change somehow? Thinking along the lines of, it was copied and internally it was renamed AERYTheme_1?

have you tried to delete all temp and binary folders? same behavior with different browser?something in the logger?

I’ve tested in Chrome, Edge and Firefox… same results.

Could give me a path example where I can find the temp and binary to see if I was correct where to delete?

I’ve deleted the binaries, temp and Diagnosis, and it still not loading any mappView theme.

INFO: i did rebuild all and initial installation…

Im out of ideas. You will need to get in touch with local support and maybe provide them the project

When I upgrade the package of mappVision to 6.8.0 it stops to load the theme in mappView. When I went back to 6.7.0 the theme went back to normal.

Looks like a bug to me. Please report it using official support channel.
