Modifying old PLC, how to begin

Hi comunity,

Ive got a project where we need to keep old hardvare some time before total renovation. So i got some projectfiles and opened then with Automation Studio 3.0.90.37 SP19. I can go online but ive got the wrong version. No big deal we plan to clear the program and link the hardware to a new CPU using modbus/tcp. But i says i do not have runtime F2.31 and i cant find out how to get in, the software says i have F2.33.

So i need some support on solving he issue of runime versions. I tried to run Automaion Studio on Windows11 and it say i can not download missing runtimes due to security issues.

Hi Frederic,

The version of AutomationStudio v3 neither v4 does not work under Windows11 exempt version 4.12. B&R Online Help

According to this image above, to work with AS3.0.90.37 SP19, you need Windows7 or earlier. To open your old project under AS3.0.90.37 SP19, you could take an old PC with windows7 or earlier, or a virtual machine on a new PC. Could you give us some information about your hardware (for example PLC Type) ?
