Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have experience on synchronizing ACOPOSTrak (on a separate APC) to ACOPOSDrives (Driven in a X20PLC) in 2 different control system?

I believe there are many ways to do it just checking if anyone has a best practice on this type of application.

I am thinking of creating PureVAx on both sides (these will be referring to the same virtual master just that it’s one copy on each PLC/PC) and use iCN to stream the position info of the PureVAx and use that position info as the encoder source of the partner’s PureVAx. But my concern is ACOPOSTrak cannot or at least to my understanding cannot do something like “Total Delay Time” of an ACOPOS drive so I am not sure how we could synchronize the 2 system.

i have never done this but i think is a little bit similar to this topic
Axis Coupling via Powerlink

The Powerlink can be use to synchronise the Task-Class System of both PLCs if you set up the System Timer to the Powerlink Devices “PLC1-Master” and “PLC2-ICN-Slave” and if all have the same Timing.
