A lot of powerful technical features have been introduced in Automation Studio 6 and the corresponding versions of Automation Runtime. While migrating from AS4 to AS6 can be challenging in some specific cases, it’s still important to highlight the valuable innovations that come with it.
With support from our R&D colleagues, I’ve prepared a technical overview of multicore support—a feature that’s being rolled out step by step with each new AR release. This article walks you through the evolution, architecture, and practical use cases of multicore processing in AS6.
