OS V0237 for 7CP476.60-1?

Hi All,

I have Automation Studio Versions 2.2, 2.4 and 2.7.
We have a customer wanting us to replace a 7CP476.60-1 PLC. I have followed the procedure “how to backup SG3 targets”, however when it comes to installing the same Operating system I get stuck with the wrong AR version.

Does anyone have OS V0237 for 7CP476.60-1? AR Version 2.37. The closest I have is V2.30 or V2.39 which I can try.

Hello @oliver_D, is it possible to obtain Automation Runtime V2.49 for PowerPanel 35? (I’m using AS2.7 V 2.7.0.25 UP18, quite old project). I’m also having some issuwe while trying to connect via RS232 (via COM adapter, both lan and USB-A)

Hello @Lorenzo_Sangaletti

Sure - please find it here:

V2.49.zip (8,9 MB)

Simply copy it to the appropriate folders of your AS installation

Going online via serial communication can be tricky on SG3 due to following hurdles:

  1. Ensure that the serial interface on the SG3 PLC is not opened with “DVFrame” library - in this case the serial interface is blocked for online communication

  2. Ensure that you use the corrected online settings (baudrate, parity,…)

  3. Adapters like USB adapters or similar might not work and we always suggest to use a plain serial interface for this

You can try to set the PLC to “00” using the node switches and then transfer the operating system in “bootstraploader mode” - this would rule out the settings for the serial interface

best regards

Oliver
